Sunflower Sensation (+Crest award entry!)

Today we planted some sunflowers for the crest award to celebrate biodiversity!!!

There were 5 different types of sunflower that we planted in biodegradable and recycled cardboard pots. They will be arranged in the entrance of our school when they are fully grown! :)

The girls that were in the video (sorry that some of their photo was cut off!) are holding up their entry for the Crest Award on sustainable cities. Their ideas include water tanks on houses that collect rain and filter it to prevent water waste. Also, more rental bikes around cities to reduce cars polluting the environment. :)
